Since people living with diabetes face unique challenges during times of disaster, we created a Diabetes Disaster Preparedness Plan which includes a checklist of supplies, information and guidelines to help you remain safe and healthy. We have resources to help HCPs support people living with diabetes stay healthy during an emergency.
The DDRC operates a hotline (314-INSULIN) for physicians and health care providers to report insulin and other diabetes supplies shortages during times of disaster. Call 314-INSULIN (314-467-8546).
